Good News

Hubby informed me 2 days ago of 2 good news,ماشاء الله.. I was a bit blurred in the beginning as hubby called around 11ish PM to inform me and I just happened to doze off while trying to let my first son go to sleep. As expectedly my dear son hadn't fallen asleep just yet back then. I guessed he must have sensed that his abah would be calling us. Well, the good news were, firstly, hubby's now booked on Thai Airways to return on 4th Nov انشاء الله and secondly that he's got an interview with an SAP firm, somewhere in KL on 9th Nov انشاء الله ..

Being taken by glittering surprise, I could only utter 2 things at the time .. الحمد لله على كل حال and ماشاء الله لا قوة الا بالله . I even forgot to ask him which company that he'd have the interview with. I knew he had been sending more than 50 applications on Jobstreet Online for the past few months. As his contract with Siemens PK will expire end of this month, such a perfect timing to return and search for another job here,سبحان الله. My prayers go out to him that his return will be a blessed one, انشاء الله .. We will continue making doas for everything to go through smoothly. I came across this verse when listening to Surah Luqman today.

Surah Luqman, verse 34: Surely with GOD is the knowledge of the Hour, and He sends down the rain, and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow. And no soul knows in what land it will die. Verily, GOD is All-Knowing, All-Aware

The above picture is Satpara Lake in Northern Pakistan. If there is a chance in the near future to go back to Pakistan and visit the in-laws, I truly would love to descend on this magnificent place, انشاء الله

Our First Baby Arrival

Mohammad Muazzam was born on 13th May 2005, 9:17AM at Sunway Medical Centre, Selangor. He weighed 2.82kg, 50cm of length and 34.5cm of head circumference. Alhamdulillah, the delivery went smooth without any complications, considering first baby for me, only had to opt for vacuum extraction in the end as I was getting weak. Hubby was in UK at the time.

I remember a doa' that hubby used to advise me to read frequently during my pregnancy. The doa' was part of Surah Al 'Imran, verse 35:

"... Rabbi innee nathartu laka ma fee batnee muharraran fataqabbal minnee innaka anta alssameeAAu alAAaleemu"

"... My Lord I have vowed unto You that which is in my womb as a consecrated (offering). Accept it from me, for, You, only You, are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower"
